Public Interest Disclosures for People Leaders (eLearning)

Target Audience

MANDATORY TRAINING for Supervisors / People Managers. 
At NSW SES, this is any staff Grade 11/12 and below who supervise other staff (and are not Disclosure Officers)
Optional for Volunteers in leadership positions (Unit Commanders, Deputy Unit Commanders and Local Commanders) and State Operations Centre Staff (SOC)

Learning Outcomes

PID001- Public Interest Disclosures for People Leaders.
The aim is to develop an understanding of a Supervisor/People Managers responsibilities in relation to the Act.

Content

• Awareness of the Public Interest Disclosures Act 2022
• Know how to create a speak-up culture
• Understand voluntary, mandatory and witness PIDs
• Know how to identify serious wrongdoing
• Know who has PID responsibilities
• Understand a Manager's role in the PID Act
