This course is to provide you with the basic understanding of the electromagnetic spectrum and the equipment you may come across in the NSW SES and where it belongs within the electromagnetic spectrum.

The SSKO Operational Communications Course provides participants with information about the new ways of working on radio.

The SSKO Radio PMR to Public Safety Network provides participants with information about the new ways of working on radio and the differences between using a radio on the PMR network and the GRN/ PSN.

This elearning package aims to provide members with information regarding the new Vehicle as a Node (VaaN) product.

The Tsunami Awareness Course provides participants with a basic understanding of NSW SES's obligations regarding planning, preparation and response in relation to Tsunamis.

This course provides the knowledge to apply safe work practices when operating in or around aircraft at an airbase.  It includes working safely near aircraft and facilitating safe ground support.

Note: This NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) eLearning package includes references specific to NSW RFS personnel, equipment, and clothing. However, this does not affect the overall learning experience for NSW SES members.
