The Storm Heights Course provides learners with the skills and knowledge to safely undertake Storm Operations at heights, as a member of a response team.

Learning Outcomes:

  • PUASES013 Undertake storm and water damage operations performed at heights

Content:

  • Welcome and Introduction
  • Heights Safety Systems revision
  • Working at Heights
  • Temporary Roof Repairs
  • Elevated Work Platforms (EWP)

Learning Methods and Duration:

This course can be conducted over a series of training days and / or evenings and is structured as a mix of information giving and practical activities. The Trainer is to run the activities so that key skills and knowledge are developed and are designed to encourage learning.

Course Duration – Approx. 10 hours
Assessment – Approx. 2 hours

Course Entry Requirements:

  • Storm Ground Operator (hold PUASES008 Undertake storm and water damage operations (or equivalent))
