 Respond to an emergency situation
 Apply appropriate first aid procedures
 Communicate details of the incident
 Review the incident

  • Principles of First Aid
  • Respond to an Emergency Situation
  • Heart Conditions
  • Basic Life Support
  • Secondary Assessment
  • Shock and Bleeding
  • Apply First Aid Procedures
  • Poison, Envenomation, and Anaphylaxis
  • Medical Emergencies

Learning Methods and Duration:

This course is conducted over a series of training days and / or evenings and is structured as a mix of information giving and practical activities. There is an expectation that Learners will read the Learner Guide and complete the Learner Workbook prior to attending the F2F component.
Course Duration including pre-reading: 15 hours 30 min
Assessment time including online theory questions:  2 hours and 30 mins
