The Road Crash Rescue Course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively gain access to and extricate entrapped casualty/s from vehicles, while minimising the potential for further injury and preserving the integrity of evidence.

Learning Methods and Duration:

This course is conducted over a series of training days and/or evenings. The course is structured as a mix of theoretical and practical activities. 
Course Duration: 32.5 hours
Assessment time: 1 hour

Course Entry Requirements:

  • Field Operator Foundation level courses
  • PUASAR022 Participate in a rescue operation (Participate in a Rescue Operation Course)
