Learning Methods and Duration:
This course is conducted over a series of training days and/or evenings. The course is structured as a mix of information giving and practical activities that may involve travel to various locations.
Course Duration: approximately 25 hours
Assessment time: approximately 4 hours
Course Entry Requirements:
Field Operator Foundation Level training
NSW SES Participate in a Rescue (PIARO) Course
Fit for Role requirements for a Vertical Rescue Operator as per the Fit for Role Manual
