The Participate in Rescue Operation Course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to participate in rescue operations as a member of a rescue team, apply general work health and safety requirements, and protect and preserve an incident scene.

  • Stabilising the Rescue Scene
  • Extrication
  • Casualty Handling

Learning Methods and Duration:

This course is conducted over a series of training days and/or evenings.  The course is structured as a mix of information giving and practical activities. 
Course Duration: 12 hours
Assessment time: approximately 1 hour

  • Field Operator Foundation level courses
