The Industrial and Domestic Rescue Course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to gain access to and extricate entrapped casualty/s from a range of industrial and/or domestic incidents while minimising the potential for further injury and preserving the integrity of evidence.

Members training to be a General land rescue operator.

  • Domestic Rescue Operations
  • Commercial Building Rescue
  • Industrial Rescue Operations
  • Agricultural Rescue Operations

Learning Methods and Duration:

This course is conducted over a series of training days and/or evenings.  The course is structured as a mix of theoretical and practical activities.  
Course Duration: 10.5 hours
Assessment time: 2 hours , Theory Assessment – approx. 30 minutes

Course Entry Requirements:

  • Field Operator Foundation level training
  • Participate in a Rescue Operation Course
  • Road Crash Rescue Operations Course
