The Alpine Search Operations Course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely perform search operations and apply survival techniques for self and others in an alpine environment as a member of an Alpine Search Team.

Learning Methods and Duration:

This course is conducted over a series of training days and/or evenings.  The course is structured as a mix of information giving and practical activities.
Course Duration: 21 hours
Assessment time: 5 hours (2.5 per scenario)

  • Advanced Land Search (Rugged Terrain) Operator
