To provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to manage all activities and personnel deployed to resolve a Level 3 incident through use and management of internal and external resources.

Target Audience:

Members who hold the skills and attributes to be developed as a Level 3 Incident Controller.

Learning Outcomes:

  • The successful completion of this course will impart the unit of competency PUAOPE019 Control a Level 3 incident

  • Develop and maintain coordination arrangements

  • Develop an Incident Action Plan and complementary incident plans
  • Maintain control of an incident
  • Manage implementation of incident plans
  • Support relief and recovery
  • Conclude incident activities
  • Review incident activities

Learning Methods and Duration:

This course will be delivered via face-to-face classroom sessions. Course duration is five days.
