Operations Officer Level 2 Course

This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required by a Level 2 Operations Officer to manage operational resources and to resolve a Level 2 incident in accordance with the objectives identified by the Incident Controller.
Introduction:
Target Audience:
Members who hold the skills and attributes to be developed as Level 2 Operations Officer and members who are currently Level 2 Operations Officers but have not yet attended a formal course.
Learning Outcomes:
- The successful completion of this course will impart the unit of competency PUAOPE023 Manage operations at a complex incident
Content:
- Establish command and develop operational structure
- Contribute to development of the Incident Action Plan
- Manage operations

- Participate in incident management team
- Monitor and review operations functions
Learning Methods and Duration:
This course will be delivered via face-to-face classroom sessions. Course duration is three days.
