This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to acquire and provide human and physical resources, facilities, services and materials to support achievement of incident objectives.

Target Audience:

Members who hold the skills and attributes to be developed as a Logistics Officer and members who are currently Logistics Officers but have not yet attended a formal course.

Learning Outcomes:

  • The successful completion of this course will impart the unit of competency PUAOPE022 Manage logistics for a complex incident

Content:

  • Establish logistics section
  • Develop logistics plans
  • Manage activities for provision of logistics support
  • Manage logistics processes
  • Participate in incident management team
  • Monitor and review logistics functions

Learning Methods and Duration:

This course will be delivered via face-to-face classroom sessions. Course duration is three days.
