This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to gather, assemble and disseminate timely, tailored and relevant information to the community and media.

Target Audience:

Members who hold the skills and attributes to be developed as a Public Information Officer and members who are currently Public Information Officers but have not yet attended a formal course.

Learning Outcomes:

  • The successful completion of this course will impart the unit of competency PUAOPE003 Manage the public information function at an incident
