This course provides learners with the skill and knowledge required to perform the role of Planning Support Officer within an IMT.
 

Introduction:

Target Audience:

Members who hold the skills and attributes to be developed as a Planning Support Officer and members who are currently Planning Support Officers but have not yet attended a formal course.

Learning Outcomes:

  • The successful completion of this course will impart the unit of competency PUAOPE017 Coordinate resources for a multi-agency incident

Content:

  • Commence coordination of resources
  • Establish and maintain coordination network
  • Manage resource requirements for incident
  • Conclude coordination activities
  • Review coordination

Learning Methods and Duration:

This course will be delivered via face-to-face classroom sessions. Course duration is three days.
