This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to control a multi-team response to an incident, to undertake a scene assessment, and to plan and implement an operational response and post-response activities.
Introduction:
Target Audience:
Members who hold the skills and attributes to be developed as Incident Controller L2 and members who are currently Incident Controllers but have not yet attended a formal course.
Learning Outcomes:
- Successful completion of Control a Level 2 Incident
Content:
- Establish control
- Conduct an assessment of the incident
- Establish and maintain a control structure
- Develop Incident Action Plan
- Implement Incident Action Plan
- Maintain control of incident
- Conclude incident activities
- Manage post incident operations
Learning Methods and Duration:
The full course duration is 3 days and is delivered via Face-to-Face classroom sessions.
