Learning Methods and Duration:
This course is in the field practical training and assessment over a range of conditions. Course duration including assessment: 21 hours.
Course Entry Requirements:
- NSW SES Field Operator Foundation Level Training
- Current Medium Rigid License (or higher) (without conditions that can affect driving the HCV)
- NSW SES Drive Authorisation Level 3
- HCV Logistics Driver
- Successfully completed FWD005 NSW SES 4WD or hold FWPCOT3329 Perform complex four-wheel drive operations (or equivalent)
- Unit Commander recommendation for Operational Driver
